Hello and welcome to our Nursery class page!

Every class in school is named after an endangered animal and we are the Penguin Class.

Our topic for this half-term is 'how does your garden grow?'

We will be learning all about the world around us. We will be focusing on plants and how they grow. We will also be learning all about minibeasts and why they are important. We have some very exciting opportunities planned, including nature hunts and building natural minibeast hotels.

Important Dates

• 22nd April – Earth Day 2025. Learning about recycling through play/books. 
• 4th May – Bank Holiday (school closed)
• W.C. 5th May – Deaf Awareness Week – we will be learning a new Makaton sign each day.
• Endangered Species Day – 15th May. Dress in black and white.
•  National Smile Month 12th May – 12th June
• Dentist Visit – TBC
• 20th May – World Bee Day •
• 20st May - National Numeracy Day
• 22nd May – Last Day of Term.
